Simulación Numérica de la Convección Mixta y Transferencia de Calor en un Canal Horizontal con una Obstrucción Cuadrada

Abstract


A numerical simulation of a mixed convection problem of an horizontal channel is presented. In particular, the influence of the Reynolds and Grashof numbers on the flow behaviour and heat transfer conditions is analyzed. To this end, the thermally coupled incompressible Navier-Stokes equations are solved using the finite element method. The numerical solutions obtained in this work are contrasted with other results available in the literature.
