Extensión del Método de la Superficie de Respuesta a Calibración de Códigos Sismorresistentes

Oscar Möller

The response surface method is used for the evaluation of the failure probability of structures with nonlinear behavior under seismic actions, where standard simulation procedures are impracticable.
It is presented in this paper an extension of the response surface method applied for the calibration of seismic code with deterministic format and partial factors. These are
optimized in order to minimize the differences with target reliability indices for three performance levels: operational, damage control and collapse.
An application is performed for inverted pendulum structures located in the city of Mendoza.
