Integración Simpléctica de la Ecuación de Movimiento de un Ion Magnetizado Bajo la Acción de Dos Ondas Electrostáticas
Abstract
In this paper is presented a numerical study about the ion acceleration mechanisms, the ion is magnetized and is excited by two or more electrostatics waves. This electrostatics waves are propagating on normal plane with respect of magnetic field. In the first place are introduced the equations that govern the ion movement, next this equations are solved by means of symplectic algorithms for separable Hamiltonian functions. The problem, when only one electrostatics wave is exciting the ion, has been studied for more of twenty years; however the research considering that the ion is exciting by two or more
electrostatics waves has begin recently. In this last situation the obtained results show an important energization of the ion. The energy gain by the ion follows two ways: coherent and chaotic. The previous developments find to IIDderstand the ion behavior in the
ionosphere, however the present research has another objective: to apply this mechanism inside of plasma propulsion.
