Algoritmos de Integración Temporal en Dinámica de Cuerpos Rígidos

Elizabeth Lens, Alberto Cardona

The use of implicit schemes, particularly the classical Newmark family of algorithms and its variants, generally fail to conserve total angular moment and total energy for non linear systems, including rigid body dynamics, nonlinear elastodynamics, nonlinear rods and nonlinear shells. The integration of these equations is hard to achieve since most of the techniques available either show purely munerical high frequencies oscilations or are numerically unstable. In the schemes analyzed in this paper a discretization of the equations of movement implicating the total energy conservation of the systems is proposed. Total energy conservation garantize solution stability in non linears problems.
