Modelado Numérico de Canales en Ebullición con Inversiones Temporarias de Caudal

Abstract


In this paper the density waves nonlinear equations were presented. Combining two previous methods, oscillatory behaviors with temporary flow reversals were studied. One of them result from integrating the equations along characteristics, while in the other one a Galerkin nodal approximation with one-dimensional variable-length finite elements is used. The model developed was used to analyze
the boiling channel behavior in both kinds ofHopfs bifurcations.
