Estudio de Esquemas para la Integración Temporal en Problemas Transitorios de Difusión-Reacción
Abstract
In the present work the behaviour of various schemes for the temporal integration in non-linear transient diffusion-reaction problems was analyzed. The finite element method with linear triangles was used to solve the spatial problem.
The analyzed schemes were first described and their convergence was shown with examples of known solution. Unconditionally stable methods were searched to allow strong densifications of the spatial discretization. The computational cost referred to an acceptable error was measured. Finally, the automatic control of the error was performed with a time step adjustment.
