Estimación de la Toma de Nutriente por Raíces de Cultivos Mediante la Formulación de un Modelo de Frontera Móvil

Abstract

The uptake of a single nutrient for root of crops is studied through a moving boundary model which differ of previous models solving the problem in fixed domains. The equations
of model are solved through the Integral Balance method. Theoretical and experimental results are compared for the potassium uptake for three hybrids of maize (Dekalb 762,
Tilkara Funks and Capitan Ciba) and experimental results for the uptake of various nutrients for others crops extracted of the literature. Better predictions with respect to a single nutrient are obtained. although remains deviations in some situations, particularly those for which it should take into account the simultaneous absorption of nutrients.
