Aplicaciones del Método de las Soluciones Fundamentales a Problemas de Mecánica de Fractura
Abstract
The Method of Fundamental Solutions (MFS) is introduced in this work to solve a variety of crack problems including body forces. The MFS is presented using a Galerkin formulation, together with a subtraction of singularity technique to account for the crack tip singularities. Domain terms arising from body forces are avoided by reducing them to the boundary through the use of particular solutions.
