Fundamentación Matemática de la Conexión no Conforme de Mallas de Elementos Finitos Mediante una Formulación Híbrida
Abstract
We prove existence and uniqueness of solutioll of the variatiollal formulation associated to a hybrid scheme for the non-conforming mesh gluing of finite elemellts. In addition, we derive sufficient conditions on the finite element subspaces in order to obtain convergence of the corresponding Galerkin approximations. As a model problem, we consider the Laplace operator acting on a bounded region in the plane which is subdivided into two domains.
