Aplicaciones de la Transformada de Fourier para la Obtención de Velocidades Críticas en Problemas de Flutter

The Fourier transform is employed in this work to solve flutter problems. Real structural systems are reduced to two-dimensional problems to illustrate the procedure. The instability condition can be identified by means of an analysis of amplitudes, frequencies and damping of the vibration as a function of the velocity of the air stream. Comparisons between the present solution and other
techniques in the literature are presented for one example.
