Una Familia de Algoritmos Estocásticos en Parelelo Aplicada a la Optimización de Estructuras de Barras

A general parametric family of stochastic search algorithms for solving combinatorial optimization problems it is presented. This family includes well known algorithms such
as Genetic Algorithms, Evolutionary Strategies and Simulated Annealing;. Moreover it is include a new scheme that combines parallel Simulated Annealing with selection.
This work is presented to show the apod behavour of the proposed algorithm and it is applied on optimization of steel structure under lateral loads, using information base
on steelers catalog for transversal section. Authors are appplying this technique to optimize different problems on Civil and Mechanical Engineering.
