Implementación Computacional de los Modelos de Cáscara de Simo para Análisis Lineal y no Lineal Geométrico y Material

Abstract

Simo et.al.[1-4] have presented a shell model with application to numerical solution of elastic and elasto-plastic large displacement problems. We analyze some hipoteses, generality and validity limits of the adopted mod"'; problems detected in the finite element numerical implementation and some simpler alternative implementation schemas. We remark aspects relative to the finite element codl' developed in C++with OOP style. Finally, we present several numerical test to validate our conclusions.
