Abstract


This article describes the use of software (PC based) developed for teaching Process Synthesis and
Optimization subjects. The basic guidelines make an extensive use of interaction with the user, based on
graphics interfaces.
The included examples referes to numeric simulations analysis algorithms with interactive logic and process syntbeaia guided by the user.
All programes have a brief tutorial on the theoretical aspects involved, as a simple reminder of concepts previously developed in the classroom.
The structure of the software alloW! the teacher to modify, in a simple way, the problem to be solved,
within a fixed, transparent framework.
