Análisis en Dos y Tres Dimensiones de la Precipitación de Hidruros en Centrales Nucleares de Tubos de Presión

Abstract


We present an extension of the method already presented at MECOM'91, to simulate hydrogen migration in zirconium alloys. The improvements acc.ount for hysteresis effects in the precipitation law, hydrogen pick-up from the coolant, and are applied to three dimensional problems.
We deal with the pressure tube I calandria tube contact in pressure-tube-type nuclear reactors, and simulate much longer times (now at technological scale) than in previous work.
