La Integral J y el Método de Elementos Finitos en la Mecánica de Fractura Lineal Elástica

Edgardo Taroco

Abstract

Linear Elastic Fracture Mechanics (LEFM) is sufficiently realistic approach to many working material under working
conditions in mechanical components.
The most comum parameters in LEFM are the intensity factor K, the energy release rates G and the line integral
J. In this work :J integral was introduced as a consequential of the conservation laws in linear elastic solid and the original formulation of Rice was extended to include body forces and residual strains. The presence of body forces us residual strains modifies the integral expression for J and the path independence was restored by adding domain integral term.
To illustrate the effect of domain load J integral was determined by post-processing finite element results and was applied to the calculation of stress intensity factors of a rotating cracked disc.
