Simulação da Entrada de um Fluido Newtoniano em um Duto Poroso Limitado por Duas Superfícies Planas

Abstract

This work aims to simulate the development region of a satured flow of an incompressible Newtonian fluid through a rigid homogeneous and isotropic porous medium, which is limitated by two impermeable parallel plane plates. The equations which describe the phenomenon come from the continuum Theory of Mixtures, where the fluid and the solid are considered as constituents of a binary mixture.
