Abstract


This work develops the solution of a plate of any shape
and variable thickness, using a triangular element with six nodal points and three defrees of freedom.
The eighteen interpolatine functions of Hermite were
determined, and they allow to mininize the functional and to obtain nodal displacement.
Stresses, moments, shear force and equivalent stresses
are obtained, completing the solution.
