Fluidos No Newtonianos: Peculiaridades Matemático-Numéricas

Abstract

A general presentation is made concerning fluids that do not satisfy the classical Newtonian law. Special emphasis is put on the mathematical peculiarities of these fluids which may explain the enormous numerical difficulties that arise when solving associated problems. This is a divulgation article.
