Un Método de Colocación Usando una Fórmula de Interpolación Optimal Local

Carlos Zuppa

Abstract

The use of a Local Optimal Point Interpolating Formula (LOPI) in solving PDEs with a collocation method is introduced in this paper. LOPI is an interpolating formula that reproduces polynomials and has compactly supported basis, constructed by localization of Optimal Point Interpolation formulas by a partition of unity. The scheme is a meshless method that
produce high quality results and accurate solutions in elliptic boundary problems.
