Comparación del Método de Elementos Finitos con Métodos Meshless en Nubes de Puntos Random

The presented work consists in analyzing the behavior of a new method in development called Meshless Finite Element Method (MFEM). This method is a meshless method that uses polyhedral elements. These polyhedra use special shape functions that behave as linear finite element shape functions when the polyhedra are tetrahedra or a triangle in 2-D. MFEM has found to have remarkable results in 3-D.
