Condición de Frontera Absorbente Discreta No-Local (DNL) para Modelos Elípticos de Propagación de Ondas en el Mar

Abstract


A nonreflecting discrete non-local boundary condition has been obtained for the numerical simulation of gravity waves by means Berkhoff's equation. Here it is shown how to combine that boundary condition with finite difference methods and finite element methods. DNL procedure has been developed in rectangular and circumferential coordinates. The numerical examples show an important improvement in accuracy over standard conditions.
