Estudio Comparativo de Modelos Numéricos no Lineales Aplicados a Subensambles Viga-Columna
Abstract
Two numerical models are utilized to predict the response, up to the failure, of typical components of earthquake resistant RlC frames.
One is based on a bidimensional finite element formulation with a non-associated flow rule of plasticity, and the other utilize member elements composed by subelements in series.
They are applied to a beam column subassemblage, comparing the numerical predictions with experimental measurements. The usefulness of each model is noted.
