Uma Técnica de Remalhamento Interativo Aplicada a Problemas Bidimensionais Envolvendo Grandes Deformaçõoes Elastoplásticas

In the present work the large elasto-plasic defromations taking place in metal jorming and impact are analized, using the Finite Element Method (F.EM). In order to reduce the distortion in the F.E. mesh, an interactive remeshing algorithm is proposed, to be used together with de code METAFOR (METAL FORming) [1,2]. The procedure was programmed for the two dimensional case. Two examples are described, validating the method.
