Un Método de Elementos Finitos por Descomposición de Dominio para Modelado Magnetotelúrico Bidimensional
Abstract
The forward problem in Magnetotelluric consists of modelling the natural electromagnetic fields starting from a earth conductivity model. We present a domain decomposition formulation of the bidimentional forward problem wich leads in a natural way to an iterative algorithm whose solution is approximated by a finite element method.
This procedure allows to approximate simultaneously the three secondary electromagnetic field components and it is specially adecuate to implement in parallel architecture
computers.
