Conjugação de Método Multimalha e Processo Adaptativo para Solução de Problemas de Elasticidade Plana Via Elementos Finitos

Abstract

In this work a global mixed r-h adaptive algorithm for the solution of plane elasticity problems using the Finite Element Method is proposed, as well its implementation using Multigrid Method for the solution of the resulting linear system. The data structure and the coupling of the two techniques is discussed. Example problems are presented.
