Aplicación de los Métodos Alfa de Integración Temporal al Problema de Transmisión del Calor con Cambio de Fase

Abstract

In recent works a new fixed domain method without regularization parameters for heat conduction problems with phase change was presented. In this work the application of α-methods of time-inegration to that semidiscretization is studied. Particular attention us devoted to the explicit method; i.e. α=0. The proposed bound for the time step is simple and reliable. Finally, several numerical examples are presented that enable us to compare the efficiency of the different schemes.
